Hear from speakers: Michael Brown and James Powell

Michael Bowne: Michael Bowne is the Executive Director of PI North America, and the Deputy Chairman of PROFIBUS & PROFINET International (PI) globally; roles he has held since 2015 after joining PI North America in 2011. Prior to PI, Mr. Bowne was a Product Manager at FRABA, a producer of rotary encoders. He holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Physics from The Pennsylvania State University.

James Powell: James Powell P. Eng. founded JCOM Automation in 2016 and has been running it ever since. Prior to JCOM, Mr. Powell spent 18 years with Siemens supporting communication protocols, and before that 10 years with GE in motor and PLC design.
