The course is for those who install and maintain Modbus devices. Learn the skills you need to find and isolate problems fast!

At the end of the training, you will be able to maintain, analyze, and solve Modbus communications problems.

The class provides a mixture of theory and hands-on experience. You will have the skill set and the ability to put it into practice immediately. We’ll cover the theory down to the package level.

  • Understand how the network works generally.
  • Troubleshoot common and uncommon problems.

  • Class size is a maximum of 8 people to ensure maximum exposure to the training equipment.

Your instructor for this course is James Powell, P.Eng of JCOM Automation Inc. James has over 30 years of experience with Modbus and over 25 years with Industrial Ethernet. James is certified as an instructor by PROFIBUS and PROFINET international. He has presented technical training in China, Chile, Argentina, Ecuador, USA, Canada, UK, Germany, and the Netherlands. He is a certified PROFIBUS DP, PA, PROFINET network engineer and PROFIBUS System Design Engineer.
